You have to read this article before the end of the day

Every once in a while we come across an article that just hits the nail on the head and this recent Harvard Business Review article is just that one.

Leaders are struggling to understand how to motivate and engage each and every employee.  We, at AMPT, know a thing or two about how to motivate your employees but this article says it very well.

The idea: taking cues from marketers who focus on customer experience and apply the same principles to the experience of your employees.

Customer experience experts can help with your employee experience because your employee’s experience at work should be your #1 initiative for 2017.

“Gallup has found that a staggering 87% of employees worldwide are not engaged, but companies with highly engaged workforces outperform their peers by 147% in earnings per share.”

We’d like to point out one important part of this article:

Leaders must be aware that each of your employee’s is different.  Much like your marketing team segments their efforts to the needs of customers, so should you tailor or segment your engagement efforts to your varying employee groups.
